Hai Tong ended the call with her aunt. She said to her husband, “Auntie is on her way to our house.

Zhan Yue helped his grandmother to the outside of Zeng Xiaoya’s clinic, letting her sit and wait for him to pick up the test results. Not long after Zhan Yue left, Dr. Lin arrived in a hurry with his parents. His family had just returned from the beach and came straight to the hospital.
Even He Yuehua had come with them. “Has your appointment been taken?” Lin’s mother asked, worried that her appointment had been taken.
“Not yet, you have to wait a little longer.” Dr. Lin checked his appointment time and saw an empty seat next to the old lady, so he let his mother sit down next to her.
He then walked to the clinic entrance and looked inside. When Zeng Xiaoya saw him, she nodded as a greeting. Dr. Lin smiled back and didn’t go in to disturb Zeng Xiaoya while she was seeing other patients.
Tomorrow, Zeng Xiaoya wouldn’t be seeing patients at the outpatient clinic anymore; she would return to the inpatient ward. She wouldn’t need to see patients at the outpatient clinic again until next week.
He Yuehua and Lin’s father stood silently beside Lin’s mother. She knew that Dr. Lin was still resentful of Dr. Zeng, after all, she had admired him for many years.
